The Moomin Parade in Brussels was undoubtedly a success. With a beautiful, sunny weather, the event gathered together 1,000+ participants altogether, with several hundreds of people attending the parade walk alone.

The atmosphere was magical with the orchestra "Fanfare du Meyboom 2.0" leading the way together with the Moomin family characters: Muumintroll, Moominmamma and Moominpappa.

At European Commission stage, the amazing choir led by Lili Wagner-Andrianne, together with the orchestra - inspired the entire audience to sing together the famous chorus of Moomintales.

The children enjoyed Moomin-themed coloring sheets, received summery paintings on their faces - as well as reading sessions that were led by two fantastic young girls, reading a short version of the first-ever Moomintale, "The Moomins and The Great Flood" accompanied by a beautiful pop-up book.

The park Square Ambiorix was filled with Moomin fans of all ages, and the atmosphere was joyful and festive.

The Organisers would like to thank to everyone who joined the event - you made this the day amazing !!
