Celebrating Moomins in Brussels

Following last year's success, Moomin Parade will be back!
2025 marked the 80th anniversary since the first Moomin tale was published by Finnish author Tove Jansson.
To celebrate this, a parade with Moomin characters strolled the streets of the European district, filling the European Commission’s neighborhoods with music, performances and adventures around the classic Moomin tales.
The day featured organized program in the park throughout the afternoon, with the Moomin Parade as the highlight of the day.
The Moomin Parade will return again in 2026 - again on the Europe Day - 9th of May.
The event is free of charge and open to everyone.
